Registration Instructions For Distance & Online Courses

Online Courses

Current students may register for online courses using the MSUM Online Registration Services during online registration.

Some courses may require special permission. When that is the case, online course registration messages indicate who to contact for permission to register.

If online registration is not open, complete the Continuing Studies Registration Form.

Registration for NDSU or Concordia Students

New students -- In order to enroll in any course (distance-delivered or traditional), you must first be admitted into Minnesota State University Moorhead as either a degree-seeking or a non-degree seeking student. Self-Paced Courses

Current and New students must complete the Continuing Studies Registration Form.

These courses are offered to students who are not able to take courses during regular daytime hours. "Self-Paced, distance-delivered courses" (also called "Packaged Courses") are similar to correspondence courses which are offered with no face-to-face class meetings. These classes may include either online or text-based components. Students may register at any time during the term and have one year (three terms) to complete self-paced courses.

To register through Continuing Studies:

1. Fill out the Continuing Studies Registration Form

2. Submit the form in one of the following ways:
