Real Estate is a dynamic industry that offers flexible job opportunities for energetic individuals with good people skills. To become a licensed real estate professional in Minnesota, you must have a license from the Minnesota Department of Commerce. This is accomplished by attending 90 hours of approved real estate education, passing the exam, and applying for your license through the Department of Commerce.
MSUM is pleased to be partnering with James T. Soncrant, Minnesota Real Estate Broker and Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce approved license education provider. Jim has been conducting real estate pre-licensure training since 1994.
North Dakota Residents: Reciprocity between Minnesota and North Dakota residents applies.
Real Estate I meets the first 30 hours of
North Dakota pre-licensure training requirements. All courses are approved for 30-hours of real estate.
Tests for real estate licenses are given by a company outside of MSU Moorhead's
classroom training. There are two license exams, principles and state law, which
there is an approximate charge of $60.00 per test.
