Graduate Classes
How do you apply as a Graduate Special student?
Post-baccalaureate students desiring to take courses for graduate credit but
NOT seeking admission to a Master's program may enroll as Graduate
Special students. Admission as a Graduate Student requires the following
materials:
1. An
Application
for Admission to Graduate Study - choose "Graduate Special"
under Graduate programs.
2. A non-refundable $20.00 fee for first-time applicants to Minnesota State
University Moorhead.
3. Undergraduate degree verification. (College transcript
that reflects degree completion)
How do you register for graduate courses?
Courses numbered 500-599 are open only to graduate students or seniors with
permission from the Graduate Office. Courses numbered 600 and above are open to
graduate students only. Those who intend to apply graduate credit to master's
certificate or degree programs at MSUM are advised to contact Graduate Studies
immediately. Courses taken before admission to graduate programs are not
assured of being applicable to such programs. An Excess credit permit from
the Dean of Graduate Studies will be required to enroll
for more than 15 credits.
