Changing your Dragon Mail Password

If you experience problems accessing your Dragon Mail account due to an invalid or non-working password, the simplest solution may be to change your password entirely and use the new one to log in into your account.

To change your Dragon Mail password, click on the email tab on the main MSUM website. On this next page you will see the Dragon Mail collaboration suite log in box that will prompt you for your username and password. Click on the link labeled "Change Password".

On this next page you will be asked to identify yourself by providing your designated Dragon ID as well as your six digit PIN number. Additional instructions on figuring out your personal PIN are also provided on this page.

Once you have entered this information, you will be able to access your email account management features. The feature that we are interested in is the “Change Password” option indicated below. Click this link to change your current Dragon Mail password.

Account Management

The final screen will prompt you to provide a new password and to confirm that new password. Note that the new password must be at least 8 characters in length, it must contain at least one numeric digit, and it must also contain at least one lowercase character. These restrictions are designed to strengthen your password and protect it from being stolen.
