NATIVE PRIDE DANCER featuring Larry Yazzie. This show features the solo dancing of Larry Yazzie, World Champion Fancy Dancer. In NATIVE PRIDE DANCER, Mr. Yazzie presents a series of dances, including the Fancy, Eagle, Buffalo, and Round, and contextualizes them in his own experiences and in contemporary American Indian cultures. This show includes audience participation and can be presented at both K-12 and College/University levels.

SHARING THE GIFT featuring Larry and Jessup Yazzie. This show features Larry Yazzie and his six year-old son Jessup. In SHARING THE GIFT the Yazzies present a series of dances including the Fancy, Eagle, Buffalo, and Round, and contextualize them in their own experiences and in contemporary American Indian cultures. This show includes audience participation and is designed for the pre K-8 level.

DANCING WITH SPIRIT is a unique show that combines the talents of World Champion Fancy Dancer Larry Yazzie and Dr. Erik Gooding, an academic specialist in American Indian music and dance. Through live action music, dance, and storytelling and through multimedia presentations, DANCING WITH SPIRIT presents a series of dances including the Fancy, Shield, Hoop, Eagle, Buffalo, and Round as well as enhanced musical presentations (vocal and Native flute). This show is designed for the College/University level, for the classroom or the theater, for programs in American Indian Studies, American Indian literature, Anthropology, Ethnomusicology, Music, Dance, and Multicultural Studies.

HONORING THE GIFT, Larry Yazzie (Meskwaki/Dine) and Alan Childs (Dakota) honor the gifts of American Indian music and dance that have been passed down to them by their ancestors. Respecting these gifts, they share them with audiences from elementary school age to colleges and universities. HONORING THE GIFT features Yazzie’s energetic and graceful dances, including the Fancy Dance, Eagle Dance, and Buffalo Dance, as well as Child’s traditional vocal performances. 

 



HONORING THE SPIRIT is a dance-focused performance of the Native Pride Dance Ensemble. With a few as three dancers to as many as 20, this one to two-hour performance presents contemporary American Indian music and dance. With the energy and excitement of a modern powwow, this performance is designed for College/University, corporate parties and community festivals.

THE HOOP OF LIFE is a Broadway-style theatrical dance production featuring the full Native Pride Dance Ensemble. This two-hour performance combines live action dance, traditional music, and theater with multimedia presentations taking the audience in a journey from the early 1800s to the present day. This performance is designed for small, medium, and large theaters.
