Faculty: Please complete this form when requesting a NEW Desire2Learn (D2L) course site. 
Please allow at least one week for creation of new courses.

A developmental (permanent) course shell will be created for you and will be placed in the Development term category. This course shell is for developing a new course and will be an archive for your course materials.  It  will never contain students or grades.

Information from a development course can be easily transferred to your active course using the Copy Components tool in the Edit Course section.   

NEW:  Prior to each semester, you will need to request D2L course shells.

These courses will have your students automatically enrolled in them. You will need to activate your course and complete the gradebook settings (see handout) so that students in your course can access materials in the course.
