Glogster Tutorial
Glogster is a revolutionary way of expressing your mood, feelings and ideas, and it goes miles beyond text or video! Creating a Glog lets you express all those things you haven’t been able to describe by words. It opens the door to a whole new world of communication – just choose a background, throw in some shapes and characters from our galleries, add text, your own videos or photos and perhaps a pinch of music and there it is! In just a few minutes, you can make a digital poster, a colorful medley of ideas, reflecting your own special style.
Your personal Glogster page can be viewed directly from the Glogster web site or it can be inserted into the many popular online social venues such as:

Blogs
Glogster allows you to insert several types of media onto your custom canvas. On the left side of your Glogster canvas you will see a vertical scrolling Magnet Toolbar with the different options of media. You can choose to place graphics created by glogster, insert text, upload your own images, upload personal videos, insert sound and music, and even change the look of the canvas you are working with.
Wall
The wall is like your online scrapbook page that you can edit and customize to your personal style and interests. To change the look of the wall, click on the Wall button on the Magnet Toolbar and a window will open that displays the many varieties of walls available. Simply select the wall you want and click "Use It".
Graphics
Glogster features various graphics created for decoration of your wall. To search through the graphics, click on the Graphics button on the Magnet Toolbar. You can browse through the many graphics page by page or select a category of interest to limit the search. Graphics provide a great decorative quality to your Glogster page and are excellent for filling up empty and dull spaces.
Text
Inserting text has become fun again with Glogster. Glogster not only provides great looking fonts but also provides you with cool looking text boxes to place on your canvas. To insert text, click on the Text button on the Magnet Toolbar and a window will open listing the many different text boxes to choose from. Once you have selected the text box you like, you will be able to edit the text inside the text box and place the text box where you desire.
Images
While Glogster does already provide many graphics that can be used on your page, it is always great to be able to insert your own pictures to personalize the look of the page. To upload your own picture, click on the Image button on the Magnet Toolbar. In the next window, click on the button "Upload your images" and locate the image you want to use. After you have uploaded your image, you may also choose to place a frame around the image by clicking on the Frames button at the top of the window. Once you are done you may click the "Use It" button a place the image on your canvas.
Video
Glogster allows users to upload personal videos up to a size of 100 MB. To upload a video onto your glogster page, click on the Video button on the Magnet Toolbar. Click the upload button and browse for the video file you wish to upload. Once the video is uploaded, similarly to an image frame, you can choose a player in which the video will play on your page. Once you have your player selected click "Use It" again and the video will be inserted.
Sound
A Glogster page would not be complete with some great tunes playing in the background as you are exploring the rest of the page. To insert sound into your glogster page, click on the Sound button on the Magnet Toolbar. Just like when uploading videos, your sound file may not exceed 100 MB size. Once you have your sound file uploaded, select a player from the player list and click "Use It" to insert the audio onto your glogster page.
